Chicago born. New York bred. “Big cat” energy. Tenacious. Grounded. Eclectic. Mentally, I train at the school of Beyonce so the target is excellence. Ava graduated with a BFA from NYU Tisch at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute. She currently trains at Maggie Flanagan studio with Midori Nakamura, Charlie Sandlan, Erin Cherry, and Richard Stockton Rand studying Meisner technique, Shakespeare, and Clown. She grew up singing musical theatre and now studies voice with Elliot Archer where she continues her MT journey while also playing with r&b, rock, and pop music.

She was first drawn to acting after seeing the musical “Oklahoma” on Broadway in Chicago, enamored by the power of immersion and transformation of theatre. She’s a little oddly fascinated with all things disturbing as her favorite film is “Requiem for a Dream". She has a strong background on the stage and doing devised work, recently performing regionally in “Beautiful” at the Gateway Playhouse and across New York with the Neopolitical Cowgirls, The Liminal Theatre Collective, and Blunt Theatrical company.

She was recently selected as a top 25 Semifinalist out of hundreds for the National Music Theatre Competition, was nominated for a Phoenix Productions Outstanding Actress in a Supporting Role Award for her role as Sarah in ‘Ragtime’, and was nominated for Best Actress for the Illinois High School Musical Theatre Awards for her role as Donna in ‘Mamma Mia!’
